Bluenose Insurance Brokers operates 2 offices on the island of Cape Breton, Sydney and St Peters. The Bluenose doors were first opened in Sydney on February 1, 1988. Subsequent mergers of Personal Touch Insurance Brokers (1989), Whidden Agencies (1989), Sovereign General Insurance Company's last retiring staff member, George Carmichael's book of business (1991) and Wayne Doucett Insurance (1995) have helped Bluenose grow to our present solid state.

Mary is a native of St. Peters where she resides with her husband. She joined our team at Bluenose Insurance in September of 2000. She is a member of the St. Peters Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and enjoys volunteering in the community.

Arlene is a native of Isle Madame. A recent graduate of Nova Scotia Community College's Business Administration Program, with an elective in Insurance, she looks forward to helping her clients find the best coverage at competitive rates. Arlene lives in Arichat with her husband and hound, in a 150+ year old home they are restoring.

I’m Brandy Sampson. I enjoy volunteering my time coaching the EREC girls basketball team. I’m also very involved in my community when it comes to helping raise money for people in need.
