Contest Rules for Bluenose Community Cash!

1. Qualifying Entries

All entries must be Local Non Profit Charitable Organization and registered in the Province of Nova Scotia with the Registry of Joint Stocks as a Charity, or at the discretion of the Contest Administrator a Local Non Profit association or society that operates to have a positive effective on the community. However, the contest will exclude all entries by Political Parties or Political Organizations. All Entries will be pre-screened by Contest Administrator; and Entries must pass the pre-screening criteria

Each Organization can only win once per contest period (January 1st (2012 to January 1st 2013), an organization entered that has previously won will not be entered. Any exceptions to the above criteria will only be at the discretion of the Contest Administrator.

Only those Qualifying Entries that have been selected by the Contest Administrator as Finalist for the monthly draw will be eligible to participate in the Monthly Contest All other Qualifying Entries may be entered in a later month during the Contest Period. Monthly Finalist will be chosen at the sole discretion of the Contest Administrator.

Organizations that are chosen to be a finalist in the monthly vote will be contacted and consent may be obtained by a representative of the organization to participate in the Contest

2. How to submit and Entry

Follow the online instructions to enter a qualifying organization, or contact Bluenose Insurance directly.

Entries must be submitted by the end of the previous month to be entered into the following months contest. For example an entry for Novembers Contest must be submitted online by October 31st.

Entries must be made using the proper name of the organization as registered with Joint Stocks. A duplicate entry under a different name will void the entry.

Selection of the Finalists/Determination of Grand Prize Winners:

Qualifying Entries that are chosen as finalist will be posted on the Bluenose Insurance Website. The Entry that receives the highest number of eligible votes during the voting period will be deemed as winner for that month.

There can only be one winner of the monthly prize, if a tie between two entries exists the winner will be chosen by the Contest Administrator.

The Organization which receives the highest number of votes by 5pm Atlantic Time on the last day of the month, and has met all other criteria as set out in the contest rules will be deemed the winner for that month and receive a donation of $1000.00 by cheque made payable to the organization. The winner will not be eligible to enter the current year contest again.

Prize Winners must be available for a photo receiving the prize and consent to the same photo being published to the Bluenose Insurance Website and or local print media.

All Information received online by the Contest Administrator including vote results is the property of Bluenose Insurance Brokers and will not be shared or made public unless it is the wish of the Contest Administrator to do so.

Bluenose Insurance reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the Contest or any portion thereof should the Contest be incapable of running as planned, including but not limited to viruses, bugs, technical difficulties, unauthorized intervention, suspected or actual electronic tampering, fraud, or other causes for any reason corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Contest. In the event of cancellation, termination or suspension, notice thereof will be posted at www.bluenoseinsurance.com
